1. Who We Are

Find Me A Hot Lead provides a free-for-buyers lead-matching service. A business buyer submits a request describing the hosting, server, or related infrastructure services it needs. We review and match that request with vetted independent third-party service providers based on the providers' stated capabilities. Matched providers may then contact the buyer directly with quotes or follow-up questions.

Buyers do not pay Find Me A Hot Lead to use the service. Matched providers may pay us a referral, lead, or similar fee; this does not create any obligation for you to buy from a provider.

Where you submit your request

You may submit a request directly on a Find Me A Hot Lead website, or through a Find Me A Hot Lead request form that is embedded on a partner's website. In both cases, the request is collected and processed by Find Me A Hot Lead under this Privacy Policy, and is matched and shared only as described below. A partner whose site hosts the embedded form does not receive your request unless that partner is itself the provider matched to your request.

When you use an embedded form, the partner's website may separately collect information about your visit under its own privacy policy. Our embedded form and the security tools that protect it — for example, bot-prevention services such as Cloudflare Turnstile — may collect technical information such as IP address, device and browser information, the referring page, timestamps, and form-interaction and security signals, which we use to operate and protect the form.

2. Personal Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you provide to us when you submit a request or communicate with us, including:

Contact details

We collect:

Service requirements

We collect the information you enter about your hosting, server, or infrastructure needs, which may include:

Please do not include sensitive personal information — such as government identifiers, payment-card details, passwords, health information, or another person's personal information — in your request.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

4. How We Share Personal Information

We do not sell personal information.

We share personal information only as described in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise permitted or required by law.

Matched service providers

When we match your request, we share your request details together with your contact information with the matched service provider(s) so they can respond with a quote or follow-up questions.

This information may include:

Matched providers may be located in Canada or in other jurisdictions. Before they receive any request, providers are required to agree that they will: use your information only to respond to the request we matched to them and for directly related follow-up; protect it with reasonable safeguards; not sell it or use it for unrelated marketing; identify themselves and provide their own contact information and an unsubscribe or opt-out method in their communications; honour your unsubscribe and do-not-call requests; and comply with applicable privacy, anti-spam (CASL), and telemarketing laws.

Matched providers are independent third parties. They are responsible for their own communications with you and for their own privacy practices.

Service vendors

We may share personal information with vendors that help us operate our business and provide the service, such as website hosting providers, email delivery providers, analytics or attribution tools, security tools, customer support tools, and payment processing or billing vendors where applicable.

These vendors may access personal information only as needed to provide services to us and are expected to protect it appropriately under contractual and other safeguards.

Some of these vendors may store or process personal information outside Canada, including in the United States. Where that occurs, the information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where it is processed, including lawful access requests by courts, law enforcement, or government authorities in that country. You may contact us at support@findmeahotlead.com for more information about our use of service providers and the safeguards we use.

Legal, compliance, and protection

We may disclose personal information where we believe it is reasonably necessary to:

5. Consent

We collect, use, and disclose personal information with your consent, except where otherwise permitted or required by law.

Before you submit a request, we ask for your express consent through an unchecked checkbox that you must actively select. By selecting that checkbox and submitting your request, you consent to Find Me A Hot Lead using your request information and sharing your request details and contact information with matched service provider(s) so they can contact you with quotes or follow-up questions.

You can withdraw your consent or opt out at any time by using the one-click link included in every email we send or by contacting us at support@findmeahotlead.com.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before your withdrawal. If you withdraw consent, we may no longer be able to provide some or all of the service to you.

6. Email Communications and Opt-Out

We may send you emails related to your request, our service, consent confirmation, provider matching, follow-up, or support.

Every email we send includes a one-click opt-out link. You may also opt out by emailing support@findmeahotlead.com.

Even if you opt out of marketing or follow-up emails, we may still send you messages that are necessary to respond to your request, administer your account or inquiry, confirm your choices, or comply with legal obligations.

7. Retention

We retain lead and request records for [retention period — to be set before go-live] after your submission or last activity, unless a longer period is needed to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or misuse, or comply with legal obligations. We retain consent, opt-out, suppression, and related compliance records for as long as reasonably necessary to prove consent, honour withdrawals, and meet our anti-spam (CASL) and privacy obligations — which may be longer than the active request record. We retain server and security logs for [log-retention period — to be set before go-live] unless they are needed for security, fraud prevention, or legal purposes.

When personal information is no longer needed, we will delete it, anonymize it, or securely retain it only as permitted or required by law.

8. Safeguards

We use reasonable physical, administrative, and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we handle.

9. Access and Correction Rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you. You may also ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.

To make an access or correction request, contact support@findmeahotlead.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond with due diligence and, for requests under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), no later than 30 days after we receive your written request, unless an extension permitted by law applies.

In some cases, we may be unable to provide access to certain information, such as where disclosure would reveal personal information about another individual, confidential business information, or information protected by legal privilege, or where another legal exception applies.

10. Accountability

Find Me A Hot Lead is responsible for personal information under its control. We have designated a Privacy Officer who is accountable for our compliance with this Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.

For privacy questions, access or correction requests, consent withdrawal, opt-out help, or complaints, contact our Privacy Officer at:

We will review privacy inquiries and complaints and respond in accordance with applicable privacy law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to escalate your concern to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (www.priv.gc.ca), or to your local data protection authority where applicable.

11. EU, UK, and EEA Users

Find Me A Hot Lead is a Canada-first service intended for business users in Canada. We do not intentionally target or offer the service to individuals in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland.

If the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to a submission, the Canadian legal entity behind Find Me A Hot Lead acts as the data controller. Our lawful bases are: your consent for optional marketing or advertising uses and for any electronic-marketing consent; the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request to receive, match, and forward your request to matched providers; our legitimate interests in securing and improving the service and preventing fraud, where not overridden by your rights; and our legal obligations. Recipients include matched providers, our service vendors, and the legal or compliance recipients described above. Personal data may be transferred outside the EEA or UK — including to Canada and the United States — under an adequacy decision where available, or appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required; you may request information about these safeguards. Subject to legal limits, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, or portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, and you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If an EU representative is required under Article 27 of the GDPR, we will identify that representative here before we intentionally offer the service to individuals in the EEA. Until then, submissions from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland may be refused or handled only after a case-by-case review.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above.

If we make material changes, we will provide notice in a reasonable way, such as by posting the updated Privacy Policy on our website or by contacting you where appropriate.

Your continued use of our website or service after an updated Privacy Policy is posted means the updated Privacy Policy applies from the effective date shown.
